Using Sony Vegas
Screen grab one - Sony vegas I much preferred using to add effects then final cut. As unlike final cut I found the more subliminal effects on sony vegas added a much more sophisticated feel to my video rather then the effects found on final cut. I wanted to also challenge myself at using another program as I had used Final Cut and iMovie previously.
Screen grab two - This shows a list of the plug ins which can be added to the video.
Screen grab three - In this image it shows the effect; star burst which can be seen at 28 seconds, it gives the character a sparkling effect which can be seen in Katy Perry's firework. I wanted this to be as effective as possible so by using the video track fx which can be seen on the right hand side i modified it and made it as bright as possible. I modified most of the effects I added so as to achieve a aesthetically pleasing look.
Screen grab four - This image shows the effects available to add to the video. In the centre of the screen. A certain effect was added to each layer my video was then spliced to the beat on the markers in and then put onto the layer with the effect in which i wanted to apply to it. The right hand side picture shows the effect of lens flare upon a part of my video.
Screen grab 5 - This is a screen grab taken from sony vegas, on the left it shows the hundreds of markers which were manually put in to match the beats of the song. The right hand side shows how the screen looked whilst adding the markers.
